NACDL Board of Directors

NACDL's Board of Directors guides the nation's leading voice for criminal defense, setting policy and strategy in the fight for a fair, rational, and humane legal system. Elected by their fellow members, its directors bring perspectives from every corner of the defense bar to that work.

The 46-member Board of Directors is composed of 35 elected directors, four Affiliate Representatives, and seven officers of the association, advised by a parliamentarian. NACDL is led by Executive Director Lisa M. Wayne, who works alongside the Board to carry that mission forward.
