On Authorizing and Directing NACDL's Executive Leadership to Make It a Priority to Seek Inclusion of NACDL Representation on the Judicial Conference of the United States Advisory Committee on Criminal Rules
Resolution of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers On Authorizing and Directing NACDL's Executive Leadership to Make It a Priority to Seek Inclusion of NACDL Representation on the Judicial Conference of the United States Advisory Committee on Criminal Rules
Washington, DC
July 24, 1999
Be it resolved that because the Judicial Conference of the United States Advisory Committee on Criminal Rules is the body which proposes new rules and amendments to the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure and, as currently constituted, it lacks an adequate, fair voice for those who represent the criminally accused, the NACDL authorizes and directs its executive leadership to make it a priority to seek inclusion of NACDL representation on that Advisory Committee.
