United States v. Toirov

Defendant illegally entered the United States (to which he immediately pled guilty and was sentenced to time served) and was granted bail by the magistrate judge on two counts of trespassing on military property. The United States appealed the decision to grant bail, but the Tenth Circuit upheld the district court's bail decision.
