United States v. Redondo-Rosales

A Los Angeles protestor (Rosales) allegedly hit an officer in the face with a hat when the officer was detaining him for standing in the entrance to a federal building and blocking the exit of a government vehicle. The case was dismissed with prejudice over the government's objection (it had moved to dismiss without prejudice on the eve of trial). The government has filed a notice of appeal.
