United States v. Pino-Ayala

Defendant crossed the Mexico USA border illegally and was charged not only with illegal entry, but with trespassing on a military reservation. The defendant was tried on stipulated facts at a bench trial and was acquitted of the trespass charges, as the evidence lacked proof of defendant's knowledge that he had crossed into a designated military reservation.
