United States v. Meath

Defendant allegedly bit the hand of a Capitol Police Officer who was placing her under arrest for entering a restricted area on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol. The government moved to dismiss the case without prejudice after filing a misdemeanor case in D.C. Superior Court. The defendant objected and sought to have the case dismissed with prejudice, which the Court granted.
