United States v. Javier Ramirez

The complaint filed by the government alleges that Defendant Ramirez was arrested by border patrol agents as part of a sweep of a parking lot. Defendant allegedly tried to flee and allegedly bit a border patrol agent who detained him and otherwise allegedly resisted. Agents processing Mr. Ramirez later determined that he was a U.S. citizen. The Government, without explanation, voluntarily moved to dismiss the case without prejudice less than a month after arresting Mr. Ramirez.
