Amanda represents clients in both criminal and civil matters in state and federal court. Her practice primarily focuses on criminal defense, and she has experience defending all types of cases from DUI to violent felonies, to white collar crime. Most recently, Amanda obtained three acquittals in a row for clients charged with serious felonies. She has experience handling cases that receive national media attention and her cases have been featured on national media outlets such as 48 Hours (links here and here), Dateline, Court TV, and CNN. She has appeared in federal courts in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, New York, and Kentucky. She is admitted to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

    The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) remains deeply concerned over recent executive orders targeting law firms, most recently Paul Weiss and Perkins Coie, and repeats its call to uphold the right to counsel and the independence of the legal profession. Despite a ruling blocking the action against Perkins Coie, the administration has continued to target law firms representing disfavored clients and positions, threatening the right to a zealous defense.
