United States v. Rhodes, III, et al.

Nine members of the Oath Keepers, who were not pardoned by President Trump but whose sentences were commuted, appealed their convictions on multiple charges, including for seditious conspiracy, relating to their planning and participation in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Rather than seeking to affirm the convictions that were then on appeal and pending in the DC Circuit, in April 2026, the government instead asked that the convictions be vacated and that the cases be remanded to the district court so that the government could move to dismiss the indictments with prejudice.
