United States v. Hernan Lopez and Full Play Group

The defendants were convicted of conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud and money laundering offenses associated with the FIFA bribery investigation after a lengthy jury trial. After the Second Circuit reversed the district court's grant of post-trial motions of acquittal and reinstated the convictions, the government moved to dismiss all charges.
