United States v. Comey

James Comey, former director of the FBI, has been charged with violating 18 USC 875(c) by posting on Instagram a photograph of seashells arranged to spell out "86 47." Comey has moved to dismiss the indictment on the grounds that "86 47" does not constitute a "true threat" as a matter of law.
