United States v. Sullivan

The defendant, a pardoned January 6 rioter, moved for the return of funds seized from his bank account that were earned from his filming of the events of January 6 and forfeited to the United States. The government did not oppose the return of funds, but the judge denied their return. The defendant has appealed the judge's decision. (The case has been consolidated on appeal with other cases in which judges made similar decisions denying the return of forfeited funds).
