Biography
After earning his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Buffalo and his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School, Richard Portale served as an Assistant District Attorney to the Westchester County’s DA Office for five years. While he started out in Motions and Appeals, he quickly moved up to the Grand Jury and then to Gangs and Narcotics. Afterwards, he started working with Duffy, Duffy & Burdo, LLP and then eventually established his own criminal defense practice. At the Law Offices of Richard Portale, P.C., Mr. Portale works closely with his clients to develop a comprehensive legal defense strategy in order to avoid the devastating consequences of a criminal charge. With a nearly perfect trial record over the past 15 years, he truly understands what it takes to win a favorable outcome.
