The Law Enforcement And Prosecutorial Misconduct Committee members, coordinated by its chair, are authorized to advise and assist members of the NACDL seeking such assistance and may, in the course thereof ,speak officially on behalf of the Committee through its chair after consultation with the President and Presi

The Law Enforcement And Prosecutorial Misconduct Committee may also submit amicus briefs in aid of its mission in consultation with NACDl’s Amicus Committee.

WHEREAS the NACDL is dedicated to improving the quality of justice in the realm of criminal law, and;

WHEREAS the Law Enforcement and Prosecutorial Misconduct Committee is one of our means to that worthy end , and

WHEREAS that Committee receives requests from members of the NACDL seeking advice and assistance from the Committee and its members regarding cases where law enforcement and prosecutorial misconduct is an issue ,and;

WHEREAS the NACDL serves its members through its committees ; now,

THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED that the Law Enforcement And Prosecutorial Misconduct Committee members, coordinated by its chair, are authorized to advise and assist members of the NACDL seeking such assistance and may, in the course thereof ,speak officially on behalf of the Committee through its chair after consultation with the President and President Elect.

THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the Law Enforcement And Prosecutorial Misconduct Committee may also submit amicus briefs in aid of its mission in consultation with NACDl’s Amicus Committee.
