Lawyers Assistance Strike Force - Roster
The Lawyers’ Assistance Strike Force exists to protect criminal defense lawyers. Its mission is to represent and counsel NACDL members who face professional risk for zealously advocating on behalf of their clients, including threats of contempt or judicial sanctions, disqualification, or grand jury or trial subpoenas seeking privileged information.
The Strike Force gives advice but not representation if unfairly targeted for criminal investigation or indicted. The Strike Force will also advise, but not represent regarding fee forfeiture, litigation and will advise as to receipt of cash or other legal fees regarding compliance with 8300 and related regulations and laws.
The Strike Force does not represent members against client complaints, civil malpractice cases, grievance or licensing committees (federal or state), or if the member is a target or an indicted defendant, or tax matters.
