NACDL News: Former NACDL Board Member Candace Crouse Elected Appellate Judge in Ohio

On Nov. 6, 2018, Candace Crouse, a past member of NACDL’s Board of Directors and vice chair of NACDL’s Amicus Curiae Committee, was elected to serve as a judge on the First District Court of Appeals in Ohio.

“While NACDL does not take positions on judicial contests or appointments, the Association and its members are extremely proud of Candace Crouse,” said NACDL President Drew Findling. “The Association and its renowned Amicus Curiae program are so grateful for Candace’s long-time and continued service to the bar. On behalf of NACDL, I congratulate Candace Crouse on this outstanding achievement.”

“If Candace Crouse brings to the bench the same intellect, dedication, and integrity that she brought to the NACDL Board of Directors and its Amicus Curiae program, her service will bring great honor to Ohio’s judiciary and justice to the litigants whose cases come before her,” said NACDL Executive Director Norman L. Reimer.
