NACDL Welcomes Caleb Kruckenberg



Following a national search, Caleb Kruckenberg has joined NACDL as white collar crime counsel. Caleb will support NACDL’s White Collar Department in its reform efforts across a broad range of issues, including overcriminalization, discovery practice, forfeiture abuse, cybercrimes, and much more.

Caleb comes to NACDL after a distinguished career in private and public practice. He began his career as an assistant district attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office, and then served as an assistant public defender for the state of New Mexico. He later transitioned to serve as an assistant federal public defender for the District of New Mexico. Most recently, Caleb worked as a criminal defense and civil rights attorney in Philadelphia. Caleb obtained his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he served as lead articles editor of the law review. He also holds a B.A. from the University of Kansas.
