United States v. Plastic Surgery Institute of Utah et al.

Five defendants, including the company, and 4 employees, were all indicted for conspiracy to defraud the United States for distributing false COVID vaccination cards to persons without administering vaccines and destroyed the unused vaccines. After two of the defendants had pled guilty and after a jury had been sworn and the trial had been conducted for 4 days against the remaining defendants, the government moved to dismiss with prejudice. The Court granted and also granted the striking of the guilty pleas against the two defendants, whose charges were also dismissed.
