Kian Vesteinsson

Fourth Amendment Center Education and Research Associate

 Kian serves as the Fourth Amendment Center Education and Research Associate at NACDL. Kian provides administrative and research support to the Fourth Amendment Center and to Jumana Musa, Sr. Privacy and National Security Counsel. His duties include conducting research on the intersection of surveillance programs and technologies and the Fourth Amendment, editing reports and educational pieces, and coordinating webinars and trainings.

Prior to joining NACDL, Kian received his BA from Pomona College in Politics and Religious Studies, writing his undergraduate thesis on the relation of anti-Muslim rhetoric and support for surveillance in post-9/11 US immigration policy discourse. He has previously worked as a Summer Fellow at the Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society and interned with the immigrants rights advocacy organization OneAmerica.
