PROGRAM SUMMARY:

"Cross-a-Palooza: Techniques for Winning with Effective Cross-Examination"

Does the prosecution’s witness list and expert testimony got you down? Don’t sing the blues just yet… join your international NACDL colleagues in “The Windy City,” to find your voice and learn effective strategies for winning the case on cross-examination.

Some of the nation’s finest experts and seasoned practitioners will share their proven and time-tested methods; covering both basic and more advanced aspects of cross-examination. You will hone your cross-examination skills and learn to apply them across the board in your trial practice, from investigation and preparation, to conveying your story through cross, to taking down that snitch on your way to an acquittal.

Our expert faculty will guide you through the potentially dangerous scenarios and obstacles of cross-examination, and give you the skills to avoid them. Larry Pozner, the master of cross-examination, says “What Wins Your Trial is Your Cross.” He will be on-hand as the featured speaker to debut his all-new lecture, "High Impact Cross-Examination of Forensic Experts Using the Chapter Method" in a special 4-hour session.

This event will take place simultaneously with Lollapalooza, an annual four-day American music festival held in historic Grant Park - just a short walk from the host hotel.

Make your plans now to attend — you don’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind CLE event and a chance to enjoy fabulous Chicago with new, and old friends—register today!
