Description

You need to ensure your client gets a fair jury who will understand and appreciate your theory of defense, and there's no limit to what you can achieve in voir dire when you have the right tools.

This CLE program will teach you how to de-select jurors who will not give your client a fair trial, and identify those who will.  You'll learn specifics tactics for uncovering a potential juror's racial biases and specific ways to voir dire them in a variety of cases, including the most difficult of all, child sexual assault, violent crimes, and rape accusations. You will hear new skills and techniques from some of the top trial lawyers and jury consultants in the nation and learn how they question jurors to identify who to strike. You'll come away knowing how to connect with your jurors to arm them for mistrials and what the best persuasion techniques are to empower your juries to bring back a “Not Guilty” verdict for your client.

There's no better place to improve your trial skills than Austin in the wintertime. Enjoy the warm winter weather in the home of the famous SXSW Festival and Austin City Limits. You’ll have nearby access to countless music venues and be able to relax and enjoy all that Austin has to offer in your downtime. Make plans now to join your colleagues in this fabulous city and return home ready to win more cases!
