This week, we are highlighting our topic page on the all-encompassing Fourth Amendment. The Fourth Amendment page has a wealth of information, and contains a number of invaluable practice resources. For example, under Practice Resources, we have Snapchat's Guide for Law Enforcement. Snapchat is a relatively new area of discovery, so it is incredibly useful to know which records law enforcement can request from Snapchat, particularly as relates to representing juvenile clients.
Additionally, NACDL's Fourth Amendment Center does great work as it seeks to seeks to build a robust legal infrastructure to challenge outdated legal doctrines that undermine privacy rights in the digital age. The NACDL's Fourth Amendment Center is linked on the topic page for members to learn more about certain topics (as seen above) or if members have cases appropriate for litigation assistance.
We have also added a News widget to the Fourth Amendment landing page. This News widget is instantly populated, meaning that any news article related to Fourth Amendment in NACDL's Criminal Justice Briefing or otherwise uploaded to our website populates here. The News widget can be updated as often as every day.
The Fourth Amendment landing page is a great place to stay up to date on all of the latest happenings on the Fourth Amendment. Next week, we will dive into how to use NACDLConnect to supplement your searches on the Resource Center. We hope you love the member-exclusive Resource Center. Come back next week for more!
