NACDL's 60th Annual Meeting & Seminar: "The Golden Rules of Cross: Strategies for Avoiding Troubled Waters" will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, CA July 26-29, 2017.
No part of trial practice is more difficult or rewarding than cross-examination, and there is no place more fitting for criminal defense lawyers to study the “Golden Rules of Cross” than in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Join your international NACDL colleagues in San Francisco where nationally recognized experts and seasoned practitioners will share their proven and time tested methods for cross-examining; covering both basic and more advanced aspects of cross-examination. You will hone your cross-examination skills and learn to apply them across the board in your trial practice, from preparation to taking down that snitch on your way to an acquittal! Our expert faculty will guide you through the potentially dangerous and troubled waters of cross-examination, and give you the skills to cross the bridge to victory.
Larry Pozner, a master of cross-examination, will be the featured speaker, addressing the science of sequencing cross and key opening statements, and controlling the runaway witness in a 3-hour session.
