Ronald Cotton Innocence Realized

March 23, 2009

In 1984, Jennifer Thompson was raped in her apartment. Throughout the ordeal she made meticulous mental notes about the details of her attacker. Ronald Cotton, would later be arrested, charged and convicted of the crime. However 11 years later, DNA evidence would clear Ronald. The friendship that later flourished between victim and accused is nothing short of miraculous. They have since collaborated on a New York Times Best Selling book entitled Picking Cotton.
