Malia Brink
Counsel for Special Projects
|
Malia Brink currently serves as Counsel for Special Projects for NACDL. Prior to this, Brink served as Indigent Defense Counsel for NACDL, working on public defense reform efforts in Louisiana, Virginia, Michigan and New Mexico, among others. Before joining NACDL, Brink served as a Staff Attorney at the ACLU in Philadelphia, where she also worked on right to counsel issues. She also served as the Jerome J. Public Interest Fellow at Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen, LLP, and was a law clerk to the Honorable Norma L. Shapiro of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Brink graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she was Managing Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law. She received her undergraduate degree cum laude from Dartmouth College, where she was a Presidential Scholar.
