Succeeding With Juries: Selection & Persuasion
NACDL's 2008 Fall Meeting and Seminar will be held at the Hyatt Regency Tampa Hotel in Tampa, FL, October 23-26, 2008. PLEASE NOTE: this is a Friday and Saturday Seminar schedule with the Board Meeting on Sunday.

The seminar will focus on two critical aspects of jury trial which will greatly increase your ability to win cases: persuasion & storytelling techniques and jury selection. The faculty includes Trial Star, a company of lawyers and actors that teach acting and storytelling techniques around the country to both criminal defense and civil lawyers; an absolute must for trial lawyers practicing before juries who’ve grown up in the television age. After a half day focusing on opening statements, the seminar will pinpoint cross examination techniques and use of technology in the courtroom which enable you to pave the way to victory in trial. The second day of the seminar will center on jury selection-- an under-taught skill crucial to winning at trial. Presenters will focus on the most up-to-date techniques to assist you in picking the best possible jury to win your case. The seminar will also feature some of Florida’s top criminal defense lawyers.
