Larry Pozner
NACDL's 2010 Fall Meeting and Seminar will be held at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel in Savannah, GA, November 3-5, 2010.

Defending sexual assault cases is often daunting.

This 2-day program will enlighten you to the best strategies for defending clients accused of sexual assault. Topics will range from investigation (including the latest on computer technology), challenging child interview techniques, jury selection, developing theories and themes all the way through acquittal or sentencing. Some of the best litigators and communicators in the country will show you how to avoid or minimize the impact of the mob mentality you will inevitably face when representing a client charged with these harsh accusations.

The venerable Larry Pozner will be on-hand for an entire day focused on cross-examination issues. You do not want to miss this unique opportunity!

Plan ahead to join your NACDL colleagues from around the country in Historic Savannah.

Extend your stay and experience all the benefits of Savannah!
Museums and Beyond
Take a journey back more than 275 years when you travel to Savannah’s Landmark Historic District. With its 22 squares designed by General James Oglethorpe, historic houses and parks, it’s easy to understand why it’s one of the largest historic landmarks in the country. Be sure not the miss the Telfair Museum of Art, the oldest public art museum in the South. Museum has been an integral part of Savannah’s social landscape for over a century. Located in Savannah’s vibrant historic district, the museum consists of the Telfair Academy and the Owens-Thomas House—two circa 1820 National Historic Landmark buildings—and the contemporary Jepson Center for the Arts. Savannah is also home to an extraordinary amount of art galleries throughout Historic District. Children will enjoy the Roundhouse Railroad Museum — the oldest and largest railroad complex in the country. Stroll through exhibits inside seven historic railroad structures and see museum’s growing collection of locomotives and rolling stock. It has also restored the massive operating turntable in the middle of the Roundhouse. And girls of all ages will like the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, who founded the Girl Scouts. The Birthplace is an architectural landmark honoring one of the nation’s most remarkable women whose vibrant story, artistic talents and organizational achievements inspire generations of visitors. Juliette Gordon Low’s contributions to girl’s lives and to American culture have made her Birthplace one of the most visited historic house museums in Georgia and in the nation.
