Grassroots Mobilization

Welcome to NACDL's resource center for grassroots mobilization. On these pages, NACDL members, affiliate organizations, and advocates can find advocacy tools, guides, and services to get in contact and build relationships with state and federal legislators.

State Criminal Justice Network

NACDL is a constant and sometimes lone voice in fighting for fair criminal justice policies. Because proposals to expand police powers, criminal laws and penalties are never-ending and policymakers devote far too little attention to the fundamental role of criminal defense lawyers in our adversary system, NACDL seeks to balance the scales of justice in this constant struggle. Amid this challenging environment, no organization does more to ensure that our adversary system is not held hostage to short-sided, regressive policies and political opportunism than NACDL.

Take Action

NACDL's Legislative Action Center allows you to find and contact your legislators, take part in NACDL's advocacy campaigns, sign-up for legislative alerts, and see priority federal criminal justice legislation!
