Rodgers Appointed to Bench
John T. Rodgers, a former Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL) board member, has been appointed to serve as a magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Rodgers worked as a trial lawyer for 35 years, and most recently served as the director of the Spokane County Public Defender’s Office, a post he held for 10 years. He is a past recipient of the Smithmore Meyers Professionalism Award presented by the Spokane County Bar Association, and was honored with a President’s Award by WACDL.
