By Ivan J. Dominguez
NACDL News columns.
On July 17, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ NACDL Press and Thomson Reuters Westlaw announced the release of the first book of their joint publishing venture. The book is Disrobed: An Inside Look at the Life and Work of a Federal Trial Judge by Judge Frederic Block of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. As described in the book sleeve, “The judge explains in common-sense terms the world of the federal trial judge and the facts and issues that shaped the cases he writes about, as viewed from behind the veil of the judicial robe.” Listen to NACDL’s podcast conversation with Judge Block about his new book at www.nacdl.org/thecriminaldocket. Read more about the book and find a link to purchase it at www.nacdl.org/nacdlpress.
