NACDL Launches Weekly ‘Criminal Docket’ Podcast (NACDL News)

On March 16, 2012, NACDL launched a weekly podcast review of news and issues. Each week, The Criminal Docket provides a rundown of the highlights in criminal justice news from the prior week, and previews upcoming cases and issues in state and federal courts, legislatures and agencies. In addition, every episode explores important items on the criminal justice agenda, featuring in-depth discussions with attorneys, journalists, academicians, and public policy officials.
In the weeks since its launch, guests and topics featured on The Criminal Docket have included NACDL Executive Director Norman L. Reimer explaining why everyone should care about the criminal law, and discussing the priorities and critical work of the Association. Guests on one episode discussed the right to counsel in the state of Maryland following the recent decision by Maryland’s highest court in DeWolfe v. Richmond.
