OCDLA Honors Jim Hennings
The Oregon Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (OCDLA) recently honored Jim Hennings with its 2005 Ken Morrow Award, which is given to an attorney who has significantly reconfigured the landscape of the defense community in Oregon. Jim Hennings heads the Metropolitan Public Defenders Office in Portland. He started the office in 1971 and has hired and trained over 300 attorneys and 1,000 support staff. CCDLA Announces Its New Officers
The Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (CCDLA) recently held its Annual Meeting and elected a new Executive Committee. The new officers include: Tara Knight, President; Joe Schoenhorn, President-Elect; Thomas Ullman, Vice President; Edward Gavin, Secretary; Conrad Seifert, Treasurer; and Jennifer Zito, Parliamentarian.
