NACDL's response

These two cases, of Martha Stewart and Lynne Stewart, illustrate
there is a war being waged against the white collar community — and
NACDL must respond and provide white collar defense lawyers with
effective resources to defend their clients. Much of what NACDL has to
offer is described in the new brochure that is included in this issue of
The Champion. Indeed, this issue of the magazine is largely
devoted to legal issues relating to the white collar defense bar; many
important and useful articles of benefit to our white collar defense
colleagues appear in The Champion throughout the year.
Among NACDL’s leaders and among the staff, I know there is an
urgency to provide the training, education, and political activism to
ensure that white collar defense lawyers can best represent their
clients. Most importantly, though, is our network of 10,700 like-minded
defense lawyers around the nation who are ready and able to advise and
assist their colleagues whenever heWant to read more?
