Choosing the Right Private Investigator Can Help Win Your Case
A private investigator can make the difference in winning or losing a
case. You already have the edge over your competition by having an
investigator on your defense team, but knowing how to choose the right
person and utilizing your investigator to the fullest may actually win
cases for you. This article suggests traits to look for in a private
investigator, identifies the extended roles an investigator can play on a
defense team, and offers actual examples from my experience as a
defense investigator showing how diligent investigation can turn a case
for the defense.

The most important time to investigate is pretrial. It is unlikely that
new facts will be allowed into evidence during postconviction
