Clark, Iacopino Elected by Affiliate Leaders
NACDL would like to thank all the affiliate executive directors and
presidents who participated in this year’s Affiliate Election to fill
two seats on the NACDL Board of Directors and the Council of Affiliates.
In a very close election, the affiliates chose Jay Clark of the Greater
Cincinnati Criminal Defense Lawyers and Michael Iacopino of the New
Hampshire Association of Criminal Lawyers to fill the vacancies.
The Council of Affiliates is comprised of four Affiliate
Representatives, each with a three-year term, serving on NACDL's Board
of Directors. Council members are elected by the local leadership of
Affiliated Organizations and are responsible for representing the
interests of all 93 NACDL Affiliates to the Board. The Council is
primarily tasked with coordinating information and maintaining the
relationship between NACDL and its county, city, state, and
international Affiliates.
