Membership Marketing Manager
Linda Gill Anderson serves as the Membership Marketing Manager for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). In this new position for the association, she focuses on direct member service retention and recruitment, and implementing new strategies and programs that add value and increase membership.
Prior to joining NACDL, Linda developed an award-winning career that included media and non-profit work. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Dartmouth College and has received executive training at Babson College and Stanford University. Linda is the former general manager of Kimani Press, a division of Harlequin she launched in 2005. Successes included New York Times Bestsellers, an NAACP Image Award nomination, and a non-fiction book featured on Oprah. Prior to Kimani, Linda served as vice president and publisher of BET Books. She built an award-winning reputation for product development, direct marketing and retention strategies, and has been recognized in Black Enterprise, and Essence in addition to USA Today for a cause marketing campaign for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Linda has more than a decade of experience as a nonprofit sector advocate. Since 2008 Linda developed a consultancy focused on nonprofit development, marketing and communications.
