Public Affairs and Communications Assistant
Isaac supports NACDL’s effort to raise awareness via the news media and direct engagement with the public. He assists in the writing of news releases, letters to the editor, and opinion essays. He shares responsibility for managing NACDL’s social media presence and assists in the preparation of NACDL’s “The Criminal Docket” podcast series, the Daily Criminal Justice Briefing, and all other internal and external communications platforms. Isaac also provides robust support for NACDL's white collar crime project and overcriminalization initiative.
Isaac is a graduate of the Honors College at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. Prior to joining the NACDL, he spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi, teaching mathematics and English at a secondary school.
