NACDL's 2015 Midwinter Meeting & Seminar will be held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, LA, February 18-21, 2015.
Cross-examination is a fundamental tool in the trial lawyer's toolbox, yet knowing how to use it effectively in different circumstances can often present a challenge. Join NACDL in New Orleans where our expert faculty of seasoned practitioners will make sure you not only know how to use this essential tool, but how to keep it sharp—and all the while—make it look easy!
Knowing the law and ethical limitations along with organizational and impeachment techniques will help any trial advocate lay a strong foundation for success at cross. Now, we'll take it a step farther and show you specifically how to set up your cross-examination in a variety of different scenarios, how to convey a story through cross, and offer specific sessions on cross-examining some of the most challenging of witnesses - kids, experts, cops and snitches.
NACDL is an accredited provider of CLE in all states requiring mandatory CLE Training. NACDL will apply for at least 12 general credit hours in every state requiring pre-approval. Approved hours for each state will be identified at the seminar. Some states, IL, GA, NC, NE, PA, TX and UT require additional fees by the attendee in order to receive credit.
