SCHOLARSHIPS
NACDL offers a number of scholarships and discounted registration options.
Needs Based Scholarships: A limited number of partial scholarships are available for up to 50% off the full seminar fee for NACDL Members. Approved recipients are responsible for the remainder of the tuition fee (all other expenses are not included). Scholarship fee includes seminar tuition and written materials. NACDL MEMBERSHIP AND RESERVATION AT THE HOST HOTEL ARE REQUIRED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS.
State or Federal Defenders and CJA Panel Attorneys: A limited number of scholarships are available to State or Federal Defenders and CJA Panel Attorneys. Approved recipients will have full tuition fee waived. All other expenses are not included. Membership is not required.
To apply for any of the scholarships listed above, please send a letter of no more than two pages expressing interest and the reason you believe you should receive the grant. E-mail the letter to NACDL Director of EvensTamara Kalacevic, at tkalacevic@nacdl.org - or fax it to 202-872-8690. All applications must be submitted before registering for the seminar and received by October 1, 2013.
