NACDL Presents The Criminal Docket

NACDL Introduces ‘Getting Scholarship Into Court Project’
The Jan. 17, 2013, episode of NACDL’s podcast series, The Criminal Docket, introduced listeners to the “Getting Scholarship Into Court Project.” This NACDL initiative is being spearheaded by an academic advisory board comprised of 18 leading scholar practitioners in the criminal justice field.
The project’s purpose is to identify scholarship that will be especially useful to courts and practitioners. NACDL will post the “must-read” lists, with abstracts specifically tailored by the articles’ authors to speak to the needs of criminal defense practitioners. These abstracts will be published on a regular basis in The Champion as well as on a separate webpage devoted to the project. NACDL will also reference the articles in its monthly E-news newsletter and via its online Resource Center.
