On Authorizing and Directing NACDL's Executive Leadership

Make It a Priority to Seek Inclusion of NACDL Representation on the Judicial Conference of the United States Advisory Committee on Criminal Rules

Be it resolved that because the Judicial Conference of the United States Advisory Committee on Criminal Rules is the body which proposes new rules and amendments to the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure and, as currently constituted, it lacks an adequate, fair voice for those who represent the criminally accused, the NACDL authorizes and directs its executive leadership to make it a priority to seek inclusion of NACDL representation on that Advisory Committee.
